In the bubble-cassette memory control system, when writing data into the bubble-cassette memory, each file of data is divided into several blocks. A control-byte is inserted at the leading position of each block, a control information is written on each control-byte indicating if the block belonging to that controlbyte is the lead block of a file. The data is stored in the bubble-cassette memory in the units of one block, and in addition, a data-end block is written after the final file.
