Generator for blown-out air, comprising a sheath 1, 6 the like, a fan 4, 5 making it possible to take in external fresh air F1 into the said sheath on one side of the latter and to blow out hot air at a constant temperature, adjustable if required, on the other side of the said sheath, regardless of the temperature of the air taken in, and combustion means 7 for gaseous fuel in order to heat the said fresh air. According to the invention, this generator is characterised in that the said combustion means consist of a gas burner 7 with a single flame arranged so that the axis 13 of its nozzle 10 is as parallel as possible to the direction of the said air flow at the point where it opens into the said sheath and so that the said flame 24 is in the said sheath in direct contact with the flow of air to be heated and is directed towards the downstream end of the latter, in that a modulating electrovalve 9 feeds the said burner 7 with gaseous fuel and in that the said electrovalve 9 is actuated by a temperature probe 22 located in the hot air flow.
