The automatic watering installation includes at least one solenoid valve 1 controlled by a control element 11. The solenoid valve 1 is linked between a water faucet 3 and watering devices 7-10. The solenoid valve 1 includes a control box 1a which is identical irrespective of the solenoid valve, and the control element 11 and the solenoid valve 1 are separate elements.
