The vibration isolator absorbs vibration generated from the rotation of the crank shaft, particularly the vibration isolator moves the center of the rotational mass of a balance weight which is fixed to the crank shaft, so that the compressor's efficiency can be enhanced. In the vibration absorber, a plurality of grooves (,5',5") are formed on the upper face of a guide weight (2) which is fixed at the crank shaft, balance weight members being inserted in the grooves, and coil springs (7,7',8,8',9,9') are inserted into either side of the balance weights.
