The sensor comprises a carcass (frame) 1 hollowed by a cavity 2 in which are housed a pole piece 4 and a permanent magnet 3. A projection 11, formed in a single piece with the carcass (frame) 1, penetrates elastically into the cavity 2 in order to hold the magnet 3 against the pole piece 4, during the operations of assembling the sensor.
