<p>A process for preparing antimicrobial formulations of 2-(alkylthio)ethanamines hydrohalides is disclosed. The formulations are prepared directly from the hydrolysis product of 2-(alkylthio)ethyl propionamides, thereby eliminating both waste streams and isolation procedures.</p> |
