PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a plurality of types of wires with terminals.SOLUTION: A system for manufacturing a wire with a terminal aims to manufacture a plurality of types of wires with terminals. The system for manufacturing a wire with a terminal includes: a server storing information about wires with terminals, in which a wire type and a terminal type are matched to each of the plurality of types of wires with terminals; and an apparatus for manufacturing a wire with a terminal. The apparatus for manufacturing a wire with a terminal includes: a wire supply mechanism; a terminal crimping mechanism; a wire conveying mechanism for conveying the wire supplied by the wire supply mechanism through the terminal crimping mechanism; and a cut-crimp control unit for controlling a type of the wire supplied by the wire supply mechanism and a type of the terminal to be crimped by the terminal crimping mechanism, on the basis of the information about a wire with a terminal delivered from the server. The cut-crimp control unit acquires information about a wire with a terminal, relating to the type of a wire with a terminal as a next production target, before the wire with a terminal as a final product in one type of a wire with a terminal is conveyed to a position where the wire with a terminal is collected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
