<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of a motor housing of a small motor and to securely fix a stator. <P>SOLUTION: A commutator motor 12 presented as one example of the small motor has the motor housing 17 which is die-cast molded by magnesium alloy. The motor housing 17 includes: a cylindrical body portion 27 holding the stator 18; a flange portion 28 formed at a front end of the body portion 27; and an end bracket portion 29 formed at a rear end of the body portion 27. The stator 18 is inserted into an axial direction of the body portion from the front end in the body portion 27. The stator 18 is prevented from coming off by interruption of the course of a washer 43 engaged with the head or an under-head side of a screw 39. The screw 39 is screwed into a hole 42 at a bottom of a pocket portion formed on an inner face of the body portion 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
