The compositions of the inventions comprise a soluble carrier coated with nifedipine and polyvinylpyrrolidone and an acrylic based polymer. Nifedipine is present, in amorphous form, in excess amounts to polyvinylpyrrolidone and in equal or excess amounts to the acrylic based polymer. |
