A tray (10) has an under support surface (12) for supporting the hose (20,30) curved in a single layer storage position. A pliable tractive component (44) has a first end connected to a point (24,34) on the hose at a distance from its first (26,36) and second (28,38) ends, and a second end connected with a spring-loaded reel (40) for drawing in the hose to the storage position from a drawn-out work position via an opening in the tray. The second end of the hose is pivotably located around a right-angled shaft to the under support surface in a corner area of the under support surface. The tray is located on the under side of a tank on a tanker vehicle.
