PURPOSE: To set a value by easy constitution by informing a subscriber's circuit of the correspondence table between the information line of each subscriber's circuit and a header value for reception and a signal showing which value to assign to the circuit and allowing the subscriber's circuit to retrieve the circuit by a signal. CONSTITUTION: A controller 6 is connected with subscribers circuits 1a to 1c through ATM-SW 2 and a cell multiplex bus for a speech path 3, and a timing generation circuit 7 is connected with the subscribers circuits 1a to 1c through a clock line 4 and respective information lines 5a to 5c. At the time of newly housing through the bus 3, the controller 6 gives the circuits 1a to 1c the corresponding table T between a loading position in the bus 3 and the header value for reception H of the position P through the common channel of the bus 3. The circuits 1a to 1c retrieve the table T based on the position P from the lines 5a to 5c, obtain the value H assigned to its own circuit, set an individual control channel and communicate through the use of each signal from the lines 4 and 5a to 5c. Thereby, the value H is set without setting directly and manually.
