PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the contamination of a sample by storing plurality of sample containers in a container storing mechanism transferring them to a cap removal position, successively, then by transferring them to a yeast filling position, while gripping their bodies, so as to remove the caps of the container, and by filling yeast in the container to detect quantities of yeast. SOLUTION: A container storage mechanism A is operated so as to convey a plurality of containers S stored therein, successively to a cap removal position Y. The body of a container S located at the cap removal position S is gripped and fixed by a container take-out chuck 40. Next, the cap removal chuck 30 above the position Y is lowered so as to remove a cap (s) from the container S gripped by the chuck 40, and then, the gripped container S is transferred to a yeast filling position X, and is shifted onto a container setting bed in a sampling quantity detecting mechanism F. Yeast is injected from a nozzle 50a in a yeast filling mechanism D into the container S while the quantity is detected by the mechanism, and the injection is stopped when the quantity become a predetermined value. |
