PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having high-density pitch contact means corresponding to contacts and having required elasticity by sticking a group of conductive stripe pieces in parallel on the surface of an insulating layer formed on the surface of a metal sheet. SOLUTION: A back-up plate is formed with a square metal sheet 1 having a spring property. An insulating layer 3 is formed on one side surface or both side surfaces of the back-up metal sheet 1 by thermal pressure welding (deposition) with a thermoplastic insulation heat press device 2 to obtain a base plate. A thin metal sheet is punched as a raw material into many conductive stripe pieces 4 in parallel at a high-density pitch. The conductive stripe pieces 4 are overlapped on the insulating layer 3 of the metal sheet 1 of the base plate, they are thermally pressure-connected with the heat press device 2, and the conductive stripe pieces 4 are arranged in parallel on one side surface of both side surfaces of the metal sheet 1 via the insulating layer 3 as a laminated structure. A group of the conductive stripe pieces 4 are preferably buried in the insulating layer 3 while their surfaces are exposed in this connector.
