摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain recording of a high quality image free from changes in image density, uneven sensitivity and noise on an information recording medium by providing an electrode modification thin film layer between an electrode of a photosensor and a photoconductive layer. SOLUTION: An electrode modification thin film layer 16 is provided between an electrode 13 of a photosensor and a photoconductive layer (electric load generation layer 14', electric load transportation layer 14"). The thin film layer 16 needs transparency when the electrode 13 is transparent. But when the electrode 13 is not transparent, the thin film layer can be either transparent or opaque. The material providing a specific resistance of below 10<6>Ω.cm stably, for example, gold, platinum, copper oxide or indium oxide is used and applied on the electrode 13 at a thickness of about 3-100nm or preferably about 10-50nm by vapor deposition or sputtering. The arrangement of the electrode modification thin film layer 16 can eliminate uneven contact between the electrode 13 and the electric load generation layer 14' to uniformize the injection of an electric carrier into the electric load generation layer 14 through the thin film layer 16 from the electrode 13 thereby reducing the unevenness and noises in the image.
