Seal element for groove

The seal is made of an elastic material and can take the form of an endless strip, to seal an opening (D). In a constant cross section along the strip, the seal has a variable profile for placing in the groove. The rectilinear section of the groove profile can be allocated with a single or multiple curved profile (A), e.g. S-profile, of the strip. A one-sided groove can be allocated with a stronger or weaker one-sided curved section of the strip profile. Additionally, the groove profile may be have a curved section and be allocated with a rectilinear section of the strip profile.
