PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the lock mechanism of the DC connector of an AC adapter into a small and simple one. SOLUTION: A device using an AC adapter has at least lock means (locking claw members 1a, 1d, arm 1b, arm shaft 1c) which are engaged with an inserted DC connector 2 in response to movement when a main switch 1 is turned on by the operator, so as to lock the DC connector 2 in a non-removable position, and which release the DC connector 2 from the locked state in response to movement when the main switch 1 is turned off by the operator; the main switch 1 is used in locking the DC connector 2 of the AC adapter.
