The document strip has two halves (20,30) of annular shape with one (20) having semi-circular plastics loops (21) in its upper part and a base (22) in its lower part. A rivet hole is provided at one end of the base while a seat or hook is provided at the other end of the base. The other half of the strip also has semi-circular loops (31) in the upper part and a base (32) in its lower part and a rivet hole in the other end of the base. The defined annular structure is pliable and detachable. The two halves can have interlocking formations which fit when they are correctly assembled.
