PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic image diagnosing device which can represent the surface of an object accurately without being obstructed by noise, etc. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic image diagnosing device 1 is composed of an ultrasonically observing part 2 to make transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves, an image processing part 3 to perform image processing for displaying of a three-dimensional image on the basis of the echo data given by the observation part 2, an ultrasonic probe 4 equipped internally with an ultrasonic vibrator, and a drive part 5 to drive the vibrator so as to scan a three-dimensional region. The image processing part 3 prevents misextraction of the surface position resulting from noise inclusion and represents the surface of an object accurately by setting the point nearest the scan line start point as the surface position which lies over the threshold of each run set in accordance with the length of the run owing to noise, etc., for the run tying the echo data exceeding the brightness value for extraction of the surface in case the scan is made on the scan line from the scan line start point to the farther side.
