The support section(11) for the dashboard, in a section running perpendicular to the bulkhead wall(3), has a corrugated structure(12) or an unequal wall thickness. The corrugated section would have a number of corrugations running parallel to the bulkhead wall or segments, and the section of unequal wall thickness would be formed by spaced segments connected to a cover. The support section is made from an aluminium-magnesium alloy.
