PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image deterioration caused by the malfunction of a correcting means by driving the correcting means and performing shake correcting operation after exposure operation is started. SOLUTION: When a photographer performs the depressing operation of a release button, shutter driving is started, and a maximum current starts flowing in a coil (#1001). The photographer stands by for a specified time t1 (time when maximum current is kept flowing in coil) (#1002). Next, the shake correcting operation is started (#1003), at this time, since energizing amount to the coil by the shutter is reduced, there is no problem even though a shutter device and a correction optical device are simultaneously driven. When the energizing to the coil is turned off (#1004), a shutter blade starts driving in a closing direction by spring force. The photographer stands by for a specified time t2 (time from turning-off of energizing till shutter blade is completely closed or time longer than that) (#1005). Then the shake correction is stopped (#1006). At this time, exposure is previously finished. |
