PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a voice quality, and effectively use a storage area of a memory by providing a voice data memory containing an index table part to store an index table from an index generator and a sounding section encoding data part to store voice encoding data from a voice encoder. SOLUTION: A voice recorder 10 has a voice encoder 14 to encode an input voice by operating only in a section in which the existence of a sound is judged from a detecting result from a voice detector 11 and an index table generator 13 to generate an index table in which an index of a composition, a background noise of a soundless section, a length of a soundless section and information on the forefront address are regularly arranged, and also has a voice data memory 15 to store output of the voice encoder 14 and output of the index table generator 13 in an index table part 151 and a sounding section encoding data part 152. Therefore, a voice quality also containing a switching moment of a sounding section and a soundless section is improved, and a storage area of a memory can be effectively used. |
