The device protects a plant from a high-speed jet of the piped medium discharged from a leakage point using a reflection disc (4) adjacent the possible leakage point (2), supported from the pipeline via a pair of radial holders (5) on either side of the latter. Pipeline positioning elements (6) on either side of the leakage point and secured together via the reflection disc, or preventing an increase in the relative spacing of the pipeline positioning elements.
