The support ring for holding the bucket can be swung downwards out of its horizontal working position, in order to adopt a vertical resting position. A pivoting fastener fitting for a holder (1) comprises a fastener plate (2) mounted on a support surface e.g. gate (4), a support ring (3) which can be swung between a horizontal working position and a vertical position when not in use, and a bolt mechanism for locking the ring into its working position. The support ring is joined to the fastener plate in a way that allows the ring to be swung downwards out of the working position, and vice versa.
