<p>A program transmitting device and method, a program sending device, and a program receiving device, which allow the receiving side to easily select information peculiar to the receiving side from among pieces of the information transmitted. The program sending device (sending means) adds a variety of identifiers to specific pieces of information to be broadcast for the same time through different channels. When the program receiving device (receiving means) receives information through a selected channel, if the identifier attached to the specific piece of information on the channel differs from the peculiar identifier preset in the program receiving device (receiving means), specific data at this time are replaced with specific piece of information to which the peculiar identifier is added. Thus, the receiving side easily selects the specific piece of information peculiar to the receiving side from among specific pieces of the information transmitted.</p> |
