The invention relates to a photovoltaic thread (1, 11) comprising at least: (a) a central core (2, 12) which ensures the mechanical strength of said photovoltaic thread (1, 11) and acts directly or indirectly as a first electrode; (b) a semi-conductive thin film (3) deposited on the central core (2, 12) and acting as the absorber; and (c) a conductive and transparent thin film (4) deposited on the absorber (3) and forming the second electrode (4). Said photovoltaic thread (1, 11) is characterised in that said second electrode (4) is segmented along the longitudinal axis of the thread, whereas the first electrode and the absorber are continuous. |
