A flotation vessel has an insert which can be axially locked and liquid-tightly sealed in a container (1) while being capable of limited turning relative to the container (1), the insert having a double-walled upper beaker portion which forms an annular interspace (39) with an open top and a closed bottom. A flotation vessel has an insert which is capable of limited turning within a container (1) and which comprises an upper beaker portion (31) and an adjoining narrower lower portion (33) received in the container (1), the lower end region of the beaker (31) being received by the upper opening edge region of the container (1). The novelty is that (a) the beaker lower end region and the container opening edge region have cooperating complementary components for axial locking of the insert (3) in the container (1) and for simultaneously producing a liquid-tight seal between the container opening edge and the beaker periphery; (b) the axially locked insert (3) can turn relative to the container (1); and (c) at least the upper region of the beaker side is double-walled to form an annular interspace (39) with an open top and a closed bottom.
