PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a compartment of a vehicle at a suitable temperature by releasing warm or cold heat while the prime mover is stopped by melting or solidifying a heat-storage material encapsulated in a microcapsule for encapsulating a heat-storage material and filled in a heat storage tank, and thus storing warm or cold heat while the prime mover is operating. SOLUTION: A heat storage material filled in a heat storage tank 7 of an automobile air-conditioner is a chemically and physically stable compound such as paraffin-based compound and higher alcohol. These materials have a large heat-storage capacity, and in combination with an in-situ method that is a microencapsulation method, a high-strength microcapsule can be obtained. When the prime mover is stopped, an evaporator 4 and a heater core 5 no longer have heat-releasing and absorbing effects. Therefore, under the control of the air-conditioner, the heat-storage material having the same temperature as that of a compartment of the vehicle is circulated from the heat-storage tank 7 through a pump 8 into a heat exchanger 6 for heat-release or absorption. As a result, the compartment is held at a suitable temperature until the heat- storage material has a temperature near the outside air temperature. |
