PURPOSE: An apparatus for injecting a light beam is provided to reflect beams by reflection mirrors of low cost instead of a polygun mirror of a high cost for reducing a large amount of manufacturing cost and minimize the product by reducing required parts and efficient utilization of installation space. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for injecting a light beam includes a laser diode(11) as a lightsource, a collimator lens(12) for standardizing beams radiated from the laser diode to a parallel beams, a slit(14) having a rectangle hole(13) for passing through the standardized parallel beams partially, a cylindrical lens(20) positioned on a path of the beams passed through the slit for converging the beams in a sub scanning direction, a beam reflection element(100) mounted with a plurality of reflection mirrors(140) for rotating at a high speed to reflect the beam passed through the cylindrical lens with a predetermined angle of view, a scanning lens(50) for spotting the beam reflected by the reflection mirrors of the beam reflection element on a photosensitive drum, and a synchronizing signal detection element(200) for detecting a synchronizing signal informing of a valid scanning width and a scanning starting point of the photosensitive drum.
