PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a normal operation on the side of a host system at all times by guaranteeing the end of command within a command issuance interval from the host system. SOLUTION: A disk controller 9 is provided with a register for setting command control information issued from the host system 11. A CPU 12 reads the command control information from the register and performs control so as to end the command within the issuance interval of a command from the host system 11 based on the command control information.
