METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FRAGRANCE EMITTING METAL

PURPOSE: A method is provided to improve the property of sustaining the diffusion of the fragrance from the metallic body impregnated with an aromatic material while preventing use of an excessive amount of perfume. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of mixing metallic powder having a mean fineness of 100μm or higher with a linking agent, injecting the mixture into a mold and press-molding the resultant material at a pressure of 100 to 600MPa so as to prepare a preliminary mold body, a second step of sintering the preliminary mold body to have a porosity of 10 to 20% by heating the same at a temperature of 700 to 1400°C, a third step of polishing the surface of the sintered metallic body, and a fourth step of infiltrate perfumery into the pore of the sintered body.
