PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a suspending structure provided with a small damping device capable of suppressing swing. SOLUTION: A part of a suspending structure consisting of a hoisting accessory 6 and a suspending instrument is provided with a damping device comprising a space 2 surrounded by a wall surface 4 and a deadweight 3 which is arranged in the space 2 to damp swing by reciprocatory moving corresponding to swing of the suspending structure and colliding with the wall surface 4 forming the space 2. A luminaire 1 has the damping device built-in, and the deadweight 3 is formed into spherical shape. The space 2 is formed into a round shape at a horizontal section. At least one of surfaces of the wall 4 forming the space 2 or of the deadweight 3 is arranged with a shock absorbing material 5.
