PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and rapidly charge a bathtub with hot water to a set water level and to precisely refill hot water into the bathtub. SOLUTION: The device includes a bathwater reheating circuit provided with a pump 13 and a water flow switch 16, a bath shutdown circuit connected to the reheating circuit, and a water level sensor 22 provided midway in a bath return pipe 21 of the reheating circuit. Before charging a bathtub with hot water, hot water is filled into the pipe 21 to purge air within pipe 21, following which hot water is supplied until output value of the sensor 22 reaches a predetermined valueΔV0. Further, by circulating hot water by means of the reheating circuit, the pipe 21 is filled fully with hot water until the switch 16 is continuously turned ON for a predetermined time period, and the output of the level sensor 22 at that moment, is determined as a reference water level, and thereafter hot water is filled into a bathtub to the set water level by means of the bath shutdown circuit.
