PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently lubricate and cool the sliding contact surfaces of a thrust pad and the back face side of a turning scroll, a swing bearing, and the like to improve the durability and life of these parts. SOLUTION: A lubrication pump 21 actuated following the motion of a turning scroll 8 is provided between the turning scroll 8 and a thrust pad 13. A sliding contact surface 8D of the turning scroll 8 is provided with a hydrostatic bearing part 35 formed of a circumferentially extending annular groove, and lubricating oil F from the lubrication pump 21 is fed to the hydrostatic bearing part 35. Separating force is thereby generated between the sliding contact surfaces 8, 13B of the turning scroll 8 and thrust pad 13. The sliding contact surface 8D of the turning scroll 8 is further provided with an oil relief groove 36 or the like. Lubricating oil F of the hydrostatic bearing part 35 partially escapes to a scroll storage space 14, and separating force by the hydrostatic bearing part 35 is set to be smaller than thrust force by compressed air in a compression chamber 10.
