PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and easily lay deck plates on beams. SOLUTION: This deck plate arranging apparatus is comprised of a deck plate gripping device 24, for superposing a plurality of deck plates 2 on main girders 11, 11 which are arranged in parallel with each other, in a manner to stradle on the main girders, and then gripping a rib portion 2g formed on a portion of each deck plate 2. The deck plate gripping device 24 grips the deck plates 2 one by one from the top one of the deck plates superposed on each other, and then successively carries and then lays it at respective predetermined locations between the main girders 11, 11.
