PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of reducing a circuit scale. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with a switching device 903 sorting image data into m×n pixels composed of n lines obtained by defining one line as m pixels, a line memory group 901 storing the image data of pixels stored by the switching device 903, a compressor 902 collectively compressing the image data of the m×n pixels, and a command controlling part 410 which transmits image data for (n-1) lines among the image data of the m×n pixels sorted by the switching device 903 to the line memory group 901, directly transmits the image data for one residual line to the compressor 902 and also controls the image data of m×(n-1) pixels stored in the group 902 to be transmitted to the compressor 902.
