PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a printer in size and height and to prevent the occurrence of unnecessary high frequency noise. SOLUTION: An arch-shaped part of a U-shaped path of a feeding path of a recording paper is formed of an external U-shaped guide and an inner U-shaped guide. Each of the U-shaped guides is made of a metallic material and the recording paper is fed along the arch-shaped curved face. An organic coating material is coated on the face for feeding the recording paper so that the coefficient of sliding friction is small. As a result, it is possible to make a radius of curvature at the arch-shaped part small and to reduce the printer in size. A control board 81 for controlling the printer is accommodated in a space enclosed by a lower case 111 made of a metallic material and the U-shaped guides and a power board 82 is accommodated in a space enclosed by upper and lower cases 110, 111 and the U-shaped guides. The U-shaped guide 11, boards 81, 82 and the upper and lower cases 110, 111 each made of a metallic material are grounded so that a shield effect for the boards 81, 82 with respect to unnecessary radiation is enhanced.
