PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a control of an air conditioning control instrument corresponding to a characteristic variation of an expansion valve. SOLUTION: An air conditioner for vehicle is provided with an environment load detection means for detecting an environment load of a refrigeration cycle; an urging force control means for controlling an urging force adjusting means for adjusting an urging force of an urging means for urging a valve element of an expansion valve corresponding to the environment load detected by the environment load detection means; and an air conditioner control means for controlling the air conditioner control instrument corresponding to the urging force of the urging means controlled by the urging force control means. The respective air conditioner control instruments are controlled so as to be coincident with an expansion valve characteristic determined by the environment load.
