PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotor of an AC generator for a vehicle in which cooling property of a generator is improved by suppressing the flow of cooling air flowing in a rotor. SOLUTION: The respective coil ends 36, 37 constituting coil end groups 35f, 35r on the front side and the rear side are formed in a connection pattern constituted of a pair of root parts 36a, 37a which stretch from two slots separated to the amount of 3 slots, a pair of slant parts 36b, 37b which are bent from the root parts 36a, 37a and stretch in the peripheral direction, and a coupling part 36c which connects tips of the slant parts 36b, 37b. The slant parts 36b, 37b positioned on the inner peripheral side of the coil ends 36, 37 are inclined to the front of fan rotating direction.
