PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of effectively utilizing a memory box. SOLUTION: The picture data of an original read by a reading part 40 is stored in a memory box 81 corresponding to a memory box number inputted from an operating part 60. Received picture data by a facsimile communication is also stored in a memory box 81 corresponding to the sub-address of a sub- signal. The picture data stored in the memory boxes 81 is transferred to an instructing personal computer 2 through an interface 120 on the basis of a read command from the personal computer 2. As a result, the picture data or the received picture data can be transferred to the computer 2 regardless of the picture data of the original read by the read part 40 or the received picture data on the basis of the read command from the computer 2. Then, the memory boxes 81 can effectively be utilized.
