SHOT GRINDER

PURPOSE: A shot grinder is provided to eliminate the need for a large installation place by producing a shot in a round shape and to improve usability by preventing a power transmission unit from being deformed or broken due to a heavy load. CONSTITUTION: A shot grinder(100) comprises a cylindrical wheel(110) having many buckets(111); a chain(120) fixed on the outer face of the wheel; a gear(130) engaged with the chain; and a motor(140) generating a driving force to rotate the gear. Upon driving the motor, the driving force of the motor is directly transmitted to the wheel via the chain. A wire rod put into the wheel collides against the inner liner by the force incident to an impeller, and the wire rod is machined as a round shot. Therefore, a large place to install the shot grinder is not needed. When driving the wheel for shot machining, a power transmission unit driving the wheel is prevented from being deformed and broken.
