TRANSMISSION CONTROLLER FOR RAILROAD CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the means of outputting signals to the apparatus of each car by a conventional through wires to serial transmission by adding a simple interfacing IO device without changing the interfaces at the side of many car apparatus in a transmission control device for a railroad car. SOLUTION: Interfacing remote IO devices 5 are installed at the pre-stage of car apparatus 1 used conventionally without changing the interfaces of the apparatus. By connecting these remote IO devices 5 to terminal units 2 with the serial transmission lines 6 and by connecting the terminal units 2 to central devices 3 with transmission lines between cars 4, data are exchanged in the serial transmission between the central device 3 and each car apparatus 1.
