PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a device for producing the sound such as a melody disposed in a box used for a present containing a boring article so as to further heighten a joy for sending the present and a joy for receiving the present. SOLUTION: The device for producing the sound is fitted into the container such as a box (1) A lid 5 of the box is opened. (2) A switch 6 is turned on. (3) The lid is opened. Then, the sound is produced, such as the voice, melody, and songs of birds. For example, when the present is sent for a birthday, and the box (the lid) of the present is opened, the melody of 'Happy birthday to you' is produced. In order to heighten the performance effect, flowers are added thereto.
