PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a result coefficient of an absorption heat pump. SOLUTION: In a heat absorption process upon cooling operation, for example, a heat medium in an outdoor machine 2 is supplied to a first adsorption core 3 without continuously circulating the heat medium while lowering refrigerant humidity to release water from an adsorbent, and a heat medium in a first adsorption core 3 is supplied to the indoor machine 1, and further in heat dissipation process upon cooling operation the heat medium in the indoor unit 1 is supplied to the first adsorption core 3 such that the heat medium is moved oppositely to the heat adsorption process while adsorbing water in the adsorbent to raise refrigerant humidity in a closed container 7, and the heat medium in the first adsorption core 3 is supplied to the outdoor unit 3. Hereby, a difference (temperature amplitude) between average temperature of the first adsorption core 3 upon the heat adsorption process and average temperature of the first adsorption core 3 can be reduced to hereby improve a result coefficient.
