PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jamming of a loop forming part at the time of a rewind of a recording material. SOLUTION: First carrying rollers 102 are positioned on an upstream side of a conveyance direction on a carrying path of a recording material 15, and guide rollers 104A and 104B are positioned on a downstream side of the conveyance direction thereof. A loop guide roller 136 pushes a recording material 15 out by a dancer arm mechanism 110 positioned on the side of the guide rollers 104A and 104B so that a loop of the recording material 15 is formed. In this condition, when the recording material 15 is carried to the opposite direction, a rewind carrying guiding member 112 guides a part of the recording material 15 extending out from the guide roller 104A, toward the loop guide roller 136. When the recording material 15 is carried to the opposite direction, the recording material 15 extending out from between the guide roller and the loop guide roller of the dancer arm mechanism is caught in between the first carrying rollers, resulting in prevention of jamming.
