PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get out an elevator by moving forward in the getting-in direction and facilitate the selection to operate a destination button in a car for getting out from among a large number of car operating buttons when a passenger in wheelchair uses the elevator in the elevator having accesses in two directions. SOLUTION: This door opening and closing device comprises a door opening and closing discrimination means. In the door opening and closing discrimination means, when the car 1 responds to a general landing call, a door to which a general landing call is registered is opened. Then, when the car arrives at a car call story in response to the general car call registered in the car, the door to which the general car call is registered is opened. When the car responds to an exclusive landing call, a door to which the exclusive landing call is registered is opened. Then, when the car arrives at a car call story in response to the exclusive car call registered in the car, a door to which the exclusive landing call is registered is opened.
