PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a DRAM part into a texture buffer for storing texture data and a frame buffer for storing pixel data. SOLUTION: A first module 11 and a second module 12 are integrated on one semiconductor chip. The first module 11 consists of a vertex unit operating part 21, a primitive processing part 22, a drawing part 23, a texture processing part 24 and a texture buffer 25, and these parts are arranged adjacently to one another on the semiconductor chip. The second module 12 consists of a pixel unit processing part 31 and a frame buffer 32, and these parts are also arranged adjacently to each other on the semiconductor chip. The texture buffer 25 and the frame buffer 32 are configured as a DRAM part independent of each other.
