PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack and a manufacturing method of the same, by which the sealed part of a battery housed in housing containers is not damaged when the housing containers are joined together by applying ultrasonic waves. SOLUTION: The lithium ion battery 10 and a holder 20 are cased in a case 42, and a case 41 is arranged in opposite to the case 42 so that an opening 421 is butted against an opening 411, then both openings forming a joint are joined together by an ultrasonic welding process. While the openings 421, 411 are butted against each other, an ultrasonic horn is pressed against the right side of the case 41 and ultrasonic waves are applied to the joint. When the lithium ion battery 10 is cased in the case 42, the sealed part 11 is set on the bottom of the case 42, that is, the battery 10 is arranged in such a way that sealed part 11 is set in opposite to the opening 421 of the case 42.
