PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a case that the card installed in the case comes off and the data is damaged, and also to prevent the damage to the component even when the card is pulled out by mistake. SOLUTION: The card connector comprises a coming-off prevention rod 70, supported by a slider 40, that has a protrusion 74 at the front end protruding toward inside of the case 5, a biasing spring 97 for biasing constantly the protrusion 74 side of the coming-off prevention rod 70 toward inside of the case 5, and a guide rail 25 that slide moves the coming-off prevention rod 70 so that the protrusion 74 may be engaged with the cut-out 105 formed on the side part of the card 100 in the state that the card 100 is positioned in the insertion completion position, when the card 100 is inserted in the case 5 and the slider 40 moves sliding backward of the case 5, and slide moves the coming-off prevention rod 70 so that the protrusion 74 may be separated from the cut-out 105, when the card 100 positioned in the insertion completion position is pressed backward of the case 5 and the slider 40 is pushed out to the front of the case 5. |
