PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine that can make double-side print even when widths of all pages of a file being a print object are not aligned with each other. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine extracts original information of a plurality of pages from stored original information, compares the size of each page of the extracted original information with the size of each page at printing (s115), and detects the maximum paper size of the original information, printing out the image on both sides of the paper with the detected paper size (s119, s120) so as to be able to select the paper print size even when the sizes of the compared pages are not arranged thereby attaining the double side printing with a unified size without image reduction and image cut-off.
