In accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a cathode ray tube convergence circuit includes a low voltage power supply and a high voltage power supply. The cathode ray tube convergence circuit further includes a switching network which is adapted to switch between the low voltage power supply and the high voltage power supply. The switching network dissipates substantially no power during operation of the convergence circuit.
